Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom state
The Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) Governors’ Forum and Governor of Imo state, His Excellency Hope Uzodinma with his Cross River state counterpart Gov Bassey Otu have reportedly arrived Akwa Ibom state Government House, Uyo to witness the defection of Pastor Umo Eno from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).to the All Progressive Congress party today .
The Daily Sun gathered that the two governors arrived Hilltop Mansion last Thursday evening and were received by Pastor Umo Eno ahead of his official pronouncement on his defection to APC today .

Confirming the incident to our Reporter this morning, one of the Senior Aides to Pastor Umo Eno who spoke on condition of anonymity said he had seen the video of Gov Uzodinma arriving the Government House last night adding that the video was trending in the social media .
” Yes I have seen the video of Uzodinma as he arrived Government House last night .
“We are suspecting the governor will pronounce his defection from PDP to APC today . We are watching developments “
Eno had last Thursday during the Town Square meeting in Ikot told the people that he would progressively moved to the centre to align the state with national politics.
He was reportedly booed and shouted down at the meeting as many people rejected such moves through their chorus resistance by shouting No! no ! no ! (The Sun)
