…Details of agreement reached by Atiku, Obi, others
In spite of repeated denials, Presidential candidate of the Labour Party,Peter Obi may have accepted to be running mate to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar under the banner of the Peoples Democratic Party.
The implications of this is that Obi may eventually dump the LP for the PDP.
This is contrary to his several denials that he is not leaving the LP.
He denied vehemently early this week that dumping the parry is not in the cards adding “there has to be consultation among stakeholders before such a decision is taken”.
It is believed that this is part of series of consultations between Atiku,Obi and other leaders who are opposed to President Bola Tinubus second term.
The Eagle Online learnt on Friday that part of the agreement reached was that Abubakar as president in 2027 will do only one term.
