Gunmen has taken their trade to Owo in Ondo state where they have abducted well-known transporter, Muihili Adebayo,killed his son and leaving his wife critically injured after sustaining gunshot wounds.
The incident occurred on Wednesday night at Adebayo’s residence in the Shagari area of Owo Local Government Area.

It was gathered that Adebayo was ambushed and whisked away by the gunmen while his wife was shot by the assailants when she resisted.
She was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Owo, where she has been in coma since then.
“She is currently recovering in a private hospital, but the boy died on the spot. The mother sustained a bullet wound to her hand but managed to escape” a family source said.
The family has appealed to the government and the public for assistance.
