Many passengers were injured this afternoon when a fully loaded mass transit bus caught fire and completely burnt on Third Mainland Bridge.
The bus was conveying passengers to Lagos Island when it caught fire in UNILAG Waterfront.

Many of the occupants were injured while scrambling for safety.
Mass Transit bus on Fire
Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service has put out the fire but nothing could be salvaged from the bus.
Efforts are in progress to remove the burnt bus from the bridge.
