President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Mr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa of the All Progressives Congress,APC for his victory in Saturday’s Ondo State Governorship election, praising the peaceful nature of the electoral process.

The President recognized Aiyedatiwa and the candidates from 17 political parties for their maturity and sense of purpose during the campaigns and the election, attributing the polls’ success to the civility displayed in the state. He urged all political actors to carry this spirit of orderly conduct into their post-election activities.
President Tinubu characterized the Ondo State election as a critical test of the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) capabilities. He affirmed that the electoral body met public expectations through meticulous preparations, timely deployment of personnel and materials, and effective management of the election process.
Additionally, he commended INEC for successfully uploading over 98 percent of election results on the same day.

The President also expressed gratitude to the Nigerian Police Force, National Civil Defence Corps, Federal Road Safety Corps, National Youth Service Corps, military, and other security agencies for their professionalism in ensuring peace and order during the election.
Furthermore, President Tinubu encouraged any candidates dissatisfied with the election results to utilize the judicial system for seeking redress regarding any grievances.
