The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has confirmed the arrest of Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, at the Seme border while attempting to leave the country.
In a statement issued by the NIS Public Relations Officer, DCI KT Udo, the Service stated, “In keeping with its commitment to securing the borders, the Nigeria Immigration Service intercepted Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, otherwise known as Bobrisky, at the Seme Border during an attempt to exit the country.”

The statement further noted that Bobrisky is “a person of interest over recent issues of public concern” and is currently undergoing interrogation. He will be handed over to the appropriate authorities for further action.
The NIS assured the public that it remains committed to its duties and will continue to uphold civility and professionalism in safeguarding Nigeria’s borders.
