The Labour Party’s Edo state gubernatorial candidate, Olumide Akpata, has been defeated in his polling unit.
This followed the conclusion of voting at Polling Unit 11, Ward 6 in Oredo Local Government Area where the LP Candidate managed to gather 32 votes.
Akpata came second at the poll as he lost to the People’s Democratic Party’s candidate, Asue Ighodalo, who recorded 41 votes.

However, the All Progressive Congress (APC) could only manage to score 19 votes as election comes to an end at the polling unit.
