Architect,Taiwo Kara,a leading member of the All Peoples Congress,APC,has  pleaded with Nigerians to give more time to President Bola Tinubu to repair the country’s damaged economy to bring more democracy dividends to the people.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Newdawnngr.com, the former Governorship aspirant under the All Peoples Congress (APC) in Lagos state said the country’s economy is at its lowest ebb when President Tinubus took over the reigns of government last year.

According to him, all facets of the nation’s economy has been seriously damaged adding that this requires a painstaking effort to bring the nation back on the path of progress.

Said he,”I believe Tinubu meant well and is ready to do all it takes to make a positive change in the nation’s economy for steady progress as he did in Lagos.

Kara,a member of the governing board of Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti also charged state governors to use the N5billion palliative fund released by President Tinubu to uplift their states economy and bring relief to the people.

According to him, the granting of autonomy should be a game changer for the development of the grassroots in the country adding that the opportunity offered by the Supreme Court ruling should be used to develop the local economy.

“They are the arm very close to the people and in the best condition to bring relief because of the removal of fuel subsidy.
In answer to a question, he said local governments in the country have no excuse not to perform their statotiry role as the closest tier of government to the people adding that failure to do so will incur the wrath of the people.
