….18 honourary elders to be ordained outside Nigeria
The Governing Council of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has approved the ordination of 15,450 ministers at this year’s 2024 Convention.
The Convention which is themed “Heaven’ is scheduled to hold from Monday 5th August – Sunday 11th August 2024.
The breakdown is as follows : 8,670 Deacons and Deaconesses ; 4,623 Assistant Pastors and 2,157 Full Pastors.
The Governing Council also approved the ordination of 18 Honourary elders outside Nigeria.
The creation of 40 New Provinces and 8 New Regions in Nigeria was also approved by the Governing Council.
