The organisers of the Nationwide protest tagged #EndtoBadGovernance,has called off the protest barely nine hours to its commencent on August 1.
In a press statement issue

d Wednesday and signed by Director of Mobilisation, Damilare Adeola,the Take it Back Movement said the decision is informed by inability of the organisers to guarantee the safety of participants.
He however said the protest will now take place October 1 which is 60 days period.“The safety of our citizens is paramount and we cannot compromise on that.
We will continue to monitor the situation and work towards a peaceful and secure protest on the new date.It will be recalled that several interest groups have appealed to the organisers to negotiate their grievances with federal government instead of calling citizens out.
