The road has been like that for over a decade but nobody cared about it.
Twice Newdawnngr.com has drawn the attention of two state governors to the pitiable condition of the Hercules Bus stop gully which serves as the link road used by thousands of residents of Oke Aro, Matogbun, Lambe and adjoining roads but all is promises upon promises.
Over a month ago, Newdawnngr.com drew the attention of Works Commissioner, Engineer Akinsanya to the almost collapsed link gully but as usual he promised but till date no word.
Life continues for the commuters and car owners who groan daily passing through the narrow gully with trepidation.
Trepidation that their car and buses may fall inside the deep gully.
However, on Thursday the people of Giwa Oke-Aro and environs staged a peaceful protest on the bad state of Toyin to Giwa Road on Thursday 27th May 2024.
