Afrobeat megastar Davido (real name David Adeleke) became emotional, shedding tears intermittently as he and his long-time partner, Chioma Rowland, finally tied the knot in Lagos earlier today Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
He could no longer hold the tears as his father-in-law prayed for him and Chioma, showering blessings on them.
Chioma lovingly wiped Davido’s tears with a handkerchief but the tears kept rolling down.
They stopped for a while but became rolling again as Davido got up and walked away to the hearty singing of one of his hit tunes by the capacity crowd.
It was indeed a fairytale wedding which expectedly took over the social media, with series of heartwarming and memorable moments. Videos and pictures that surfaced online allowed fans worldwide to partake in the joyous occasion.
Fans felt as though they were right there, celebrating alongside the couple, as the ceremony garnered thousands of views and reactions from those who could not get enough of the couple’s enchanting love story.
Also, it was all pomp and pageantry as the wedding ceremony brought together some of the big names in politics, business, and entertainment.
