We are wired to lay blame and never take responsibility. The same way, we blame family altars, familiar spirits, ancestral curses, spirit husbands and wives, etc for our woes, we have brought to governance blaming Tinubu.

The pathetic side of the current blame game is that those who once told us that as long as we “sow” into their lives and ministries, no government policy can affect us, as “our economy is governed from heaven”, are the same people direct us to government and Tinubu. What happened to that “gospel”? Anything u ever preached outside Christ, will collapse.

Tinubu is not your problem, he is making hard decisions to put the country on the right path. It is biting on everyone. While you blame Tinubu, why not ask yourself how did we come here?

Nigeria is where she is today because of the cumulative effects of our previous actions over the years. 61% of Nigeria’s earnings for the past 10 years were used to service loans, how can such a country stand?

President Buhari’s government was practically borrowing to fund fuel subsidies. Nigeria was at the point of collapsing, and President Tinubu had to remove it, if not the country would have collapsed. As we speak, search how much is fuel per litre in the international market, and you will see that subsidy is painfully back. Try to check other countries, Nigeria is not in isolation. More countries are discovering oil, big multinationals are pulling out of Nigeria. We had our moments but wasted them.

This is how we came here;

I. Your member brought “seed” to you that is 100 times his salary, you collected it and never asked questions, you are also part of the problems that brought us here.

II. Your relatives entered government poor, and came out rich, you didn’t speak out because, to you, it was a breakthrough, but today you are on social media shouting Tinubu?

III. When UAE was using oil money to build Dubai and to lay strong economic foundation, you were here burning down the country in Kano, Kaduna, Plateau, Borno, Yobe… your actions increased our defence overhead and those who supplied us weapons smiled to bank while our bodies and economy bled. Today, you are shouting Tinubu?

IV. When Russia was laying pipes into Europe to dominate the oil market there, you incited, and instigated the bursting of oil pipelines and facilities, and you stole oil products. Your actions shut down all depots across the country. This is how tankers took over your roads, but today you are shouting Tinubu!

V. Your fathers killed our textile factories, looted our national airline to extinction, and killed our public schools while their private schools blossom. Today, you are shouting Tinubu?

Nigeria’s problem is pathetic, we are here as a result of our collective actions and only tough decisions will take us out.

The mindset of condemning and not supporting who is the president as long as he is not from your side of the country is also part of the problem.

There is nothing any man can do, to fix Nigeria overnight. It is rainy season, leave social media and look for where to farm no matter how little it is. Try to consume what you produce. This is one sure way to contribute to the recovery plan.

Sitting on Social Media shouting Tinubu will not help. Nigeria is going through a phase and it requires some painful and hard decisions.

President Tinubu is closer to where he is going than where he is coming from. His actions are more for the future of this country and her children.

He has gone to the Supreme Court to make allocations going directly to the 774 Local Governments and not through the states. Only a man who has the country at heart will want to offend the governors to stand by the people… not even 5 Peter Obi together can try this as president.

May President Tinubu succeed!
