How Marine Police rescued Kidnapped Fouani Brothers

Details have emerged on how the three Founai brothers kidnapped last Friday were rescued by the Marine Police

The Founai brothers Youseff,Abass and Amtai Founai were abducted last Friday.

It will be recalled that  last Friday that Yourself, the Managing Director of the company that distributes LG and Hisense electronic appliances in Nigeria and his two brothers  were kidnapped from the boat in which they were moving near the Falomo, Ikoyi area of Lagos.

The Fouani brothers who were kidnapped were identified as Youssef, Abass and Amtal Fouani.

Their boat captain and his assistant were also kidnapped.

The abductors had demanded for a ransom of $1.5m to release them the victims.

While confirming their release, Hundeyin said the feat was achieved by the Lagos Marine police with support from the navy.

Hundeyin said the victims were later taken to their residence.

“They were rescued late last night in Orugbo Iddo. Our marine police with the support of the Nigerian Navy brought them to shore,” Hundeyin said

“Thereafter, our tactical team in the area took them home on Banana Island in the early hours of today.
