Annual rites: Ota palace announces restriction of movement

The palace of the Olota of Otta in Ogun State, Oba Adeyemi Obalanlege, has announced the restriction of movement for the annual rites of the ancient town.

The Oluwo of Otta, High Chief Oyedele Deinde, made the announcement on behalf of the Olota and Olota-In-Council.

Deinde said: “This is to inform the general public that there will be restriction of both human and vehicular movements in Otta and its environs on Monday, 29th April, 2024 from 11pm till 3am in completion of the annual rites in the entire Paramount and Ancient Otta Awori Kingdom for the progress, peace, and prosperity of the land.

 

“Please, kindly comply and ensure that you pass this message to your loved ones.”
