….. fixes new date for completion
In apparent reaction to the emergence of Three Candidates after last weeks Governorship primaries,the All Progressives Congress (APC) has declared the primaries inconclusive.
The party therefore fixed Thursday, February 22, 2024 for the completion of the process.
The National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Felix Morka, stated these while reading the decision of its National Working Committee (NWC) in a meeting held on Tuesday night.
He said, “At its emergency meeting held today, Tuesday, February 20, 2024, to consider the report on the Edo State Governorship Primary Election, the National Working Committee (NWC) deliberated on the report and resolved that the Edo State Governorship Primary Election has not been completed, and has now fixed Thursday February 22, 2024 for the completion of the Primary Election Process.”
The Governorship Election is scheduled for September 21 this Year.
