Ekiti commences demolition of old school buildings

The Ekiti State Government has commenced demolition of over 50 old structures in public primary schools spread across the 16 Local Government Areas of the State.

The Executive Chairman of the Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board, Prof Femi Akinwumi who made this known while inspecting an old structure marked for demolition at St. Andrew’s Primary School in Oke lla, Ado Ekiti, said the building would be demolished immediately while 10 of the 50 structures marked for demolition are to be pulled down within the next one week.
