President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered full investigation into the crisis over the alleged Disbursement of funds meant for Poverty Alleviation by Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation headed by Dr Beta Edu.
Information and National Orientation Minister, Mohammed Idris said this in a statement late Sunday in Abuja.
He said the federal government acknowledged concerns raised by the public on the alleged payment of funds into private account by the ministry and is aware of the narratives and concerns of the public.
It will be recalled that the payment of funds into the personal account of the accountant to the Humanitarian Ministry,Oniyelu Bridget Mojisola has generated furore in the country with the pybkic questioning tge rationale for such decision.
