Veteran broadcaster,Jikah Atoh is dead.
His death, of undisclosed cause, took place at a private hospital in New Haven, Enugu.
A native of Onitsha in neighbouring Anambra State, Jika Atoh came to national prominence as the pioneer presenter of AIT flagship programme Kakaaki in the ’90s.
He later moved to Cosmos FM Enugu as pioneer General Manager, successfully turning it into the first broadcast outlet to run 24 hours in the South East.
A former newscaster at Channels Television, Jika Atoh, who was in his early 70s, was until his death a tutor at West Africa Broadcast and Media Academy (WABMA).
