Residents of some communities in Yewa North 1 constituency in Ogun state who have been without power supply for years could now heave a sign of relief.
The cheering news came last week when the management team of the cement conglomerate had a meeting with the Ogun state House of Assembly members mandated to resolve the lingering blackout which prompted a protest by the community three weeks ago.
The protest was ignited by several damage to the poles and cables which connected the communities by reckless drivers of the company.

Honourable Adegboyega Awoso told Newdawnngr.com that the two parties have since decided to prevail on both side to allow the issue be resolved after Dangote promised to provide the poles, cables ,Insulators needed to effect repair and restoration of electricity by the Ibadan Electric Distribution Company,IBEDC.
The company it will be recalled had promised to provide free labour for fixing the equipments.
