The United states Embassy and Consulate General in Nigeria has issued security alert to it’s citizens in view of potential terrorist attack.
The alert is contained in a memo issued Friday by the US Embassy in Abuja and Consulate in Lagos Nigeria.

According to the alert,in view of the increased tensions in various locations arround the world, the potential for terrorist attacks, demonstrations or violent actions against US citizens and interests ,” the Department of State advises US citizens overseas to exercise increases caution as follows:
* stay alert in locations frequented by tourists etc.
