Nigerias Green chamber recorded another Death this morning.Death, once again, came knocking on the doors of Nigeria’s Green Chamber of the National Assembly this morning. Honourable Abdullkadir Jelani Dambuga member representing Isa-Sabon Birni federal constituency of Sokoto State died in the early hours of today.
He was a first-time member of the House of Representatives elected on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
He reportedly died around 12:30 am on Wednesday after a brief illness.
Danbuga was said to have taken ill on Tuesday and was admitted in an undisclosed hospital for treatment
TheNiche learnt that the remains of the fallen federal lawmaker have been taken to Sokoto for burial, according to Islamic rites.
Spokesman of the House, Hon. Akin Rotimi, who confirmed the incident, said the death was announced on the lawmakers’ platform this morning.
He said an official statement from the House of Representatives on the sad incident will come later.
