As the trajectory of life is in continuum, all humans must be circumspective in their relationships. While taking the rungs of a ladder one after the other on ascending a height, care must be taken on the people by the ladder as they are likely to remain helpful while descending the same ladder.
Here are three journalists who inspite of difference in their ages, worked together as Reporters of a Rural Newspapers in Ogun State – The Village News – published in Akinale, 37 years ago, met again in the sprawling community under an advanced status – Royalty.
Oba Professor Adeyemi Obalanlege, Olota of Ota Kingdom (centre), Oba Dr. Olufemi Ogunleye, Towulade Akinale, Owu Kingdom (right) and Journalism scion , Morenikeji Bamidele Ogunleye, Senior Journalist, OGBC Abeokuta, met in Akinale to reminisce on their reportorial experiences on the Village News late 80s.
Olota Obalanlege had driven into Akinale on a courtesy call on Oba Ogunleye after
both traditional rulers had risen from the Egba Traditional Council Meeting in Abeokuta. Dele Ogunleye who also lives in Akinale joined the memorable meeting.
