The Governing Council of the Redeemed Christain Church of God,RCCG has renamed it’s prayer camp,the Redemption City of God.

This decision taken on Sunday August 6tg was announced by its General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye at the end of this years ministers conference.
He also announced the appointment of a unnamed retired Army General as it’s Commandant to be assisted by a retired Inspector General of Police,Leye Oyebade and four others.
Pastor Adeboye also sound a nite of warning to Land grabbers popularly called Ajagungbale to be ready to do battle with the mission adding,”God is a man of war’. Adeboye leads prayer walk for 71st national convention of RCCG
He disclosed the readiness of the Church to repossess it’s land seized by Land grabbers.
He also disclosed the creation of two new Continental branches in the United States Of America and Canada to be headed by new leaders.
On the administration he announced the elevation of four Continental Overseers to Overseers Emeritus.
Besides,the new continent,he also announced the creation of nine new regions,29 new provinces and seventy six Honourable Elders for the Church.
Pastor Adeboye said that a total of 8,499 Deacons,4,325 Assistant Pastors and 1896 Full Pastors will the ordained during this years 71st National Convention starting Monday August 7-Sunday August 13.

Furthermore,a total sum of 6052 students are to graduate from the missions Bible College on Monday to kick -off the National Convention.
