President Bola Tinubu has appointed Ajuri Ngelale, as his special adviser on media and publicity.

Ngelale served former President Muhammadu Buhari, as Senior Special Assistant.
Willie Bassey, Director of Information in the office of the secretary to the government of the federation (SGF), announced the appointment in a statement on Monday.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of chief Ajuri Ngelale as special adviser to the president on media and publicity,” the statement reads.

“The appointment takes effect from 31st July 2023 and would terminate at the end of this administration unless otherwise decided by the president.”

In his first reaction, Ngelale said on his twitter handle that he is grateful for the appointment.
According to the statement, Ngelale’s appointment takes effect immediately.

Ngelale had served as senior special assistant on public affairs to former President Muhammadu Buhari.
