The All Progressive Congress, APC on Monday confirmed the resignations of its National Chairman Senator Abdullahi Adamu and its National Secretary Iyiola Omisore.
NWC meeting is however postponed indefinitely
The party said the resignations were followed by immediate assumptions of offices by the Deputy National Chairman of the Party (North), Senator Abubakar Kyari and Barrister Festus Fuanter who was until now the Deputy National Secretary of the party.
There have been speculations over the resignations of Adamu and Omisore.
Newdawnngr had earlier that an emergency meeting of the National Working Committee,NWC of the party was underway as Adamu was absent from the meeting.
Addressing journalists, acting National Chairman, Sen. Abubakar Kyari announced the postponement of the meetings earlier scheduled for 18th & 19th of July, 2023.
“A new date will be communicated in due course” he told reporters
