The Editor of the Vanguard Newspapers, Mr. Eze Anaba, has been elected as the President of the Nigerian Guild of Editors.
NGE Biennial Convention : 13 jostle for NGE positions at Imo
Anaba defeated a former Editor of ThisDay Newspapers, Mr. Bolaji Adebiyi at the ongoing biennial conference of the NGE holding in Owerri, the Imo State capital.
He will be taking over the mantle of leadership from Isa Mustapha, who had piloted the affairs of the Guild in the last two years.
While Anaba polled 250 votes, Adebiyi scored 81 votes.
