Nigeria’s president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to the country after a working visit to Europe.
According to reports Tinubu was received at the Abuja airport by Senate President Ahmad Lawan, Kashim Shettima, vice-president-elect, Godswill Akpabio, a former minister of Niger Delta affairs, and Abdullahi Ganduje, governor of Kano, among others.
Tinubu’s media aide, Tunde Rahman had said his principal would meet with investors and finetune transition plans.

Tinubu is expected to assume office on May 29 when the second term of President Muhammadu Buhari elapses.
