…. Dismisses Otetolas appeal. The Supreme Court on Tuesday said Governor Ademola Adeleke is the rightful winner of the July 16, 2022 governorship election in Osun state. The apex court, in arriving at the decision on the matter, dismissed evidences adduced by the petitioner, who had challenged the decision of the Appeal Tribunal which declared Adeleke as the true winner of the election.
Withheld salaries: Adeleke’s faulty steps
In the judgement read by Justice Akomaye Agim, the court held that BIVAS remains the only primary source of election dismissing claims by former Gboyega Oyetola.
