A technical fault which developed mid air has led to the diversion of a Port Harcourt-bound Aero Contractors passenger plane originating from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, developed fault mid-air earlier today, Wednesday, April 5, 2023, and to return to the Nigerian capital.
A report by CKN News quoted a passenger on the flight as saying that the aircraft was already on its way when the pilot noticed some faults and decided to return the plane to base.
The unnamed passenger was quoted as telling the portal: “Good morning, Kindly thank God for my colleague and I from delivering us from what would have been an air mishap on our way to Port Harcourt. The Aero flight developed a fault in mid air and had to return to Abuja. we have landed safely to the glory of God”.
