Says he can’t solve the problem he is part of

Prof. Bolaji Akinyemi a former Minister of External Affairs has charged former President Olusegun Obasanjo to be quiet now rather than creating more problems after having served his term as the President of the country.
The learned scholar was reacting to letter written by Obasanjo on the 2023 presidential elections.
Said he,” Obasanjo is part of the foundation of the problems of this Country. ”
Prof. Akinyemi who spoke on” Politics This Morning” on Channels T.V on the topic: 2023 & Nigeria Leadership Agenda : Nation’s Politics, Transition & Choice of New Leader, urged Nigerians to ignore
Olusegun Obasanjo’s letter or ideas because he is also part of the foundation of the problems that we have in this country.
He said “I have said that once you’ve occupied that position of President and have served your term, pls go home and be like General Gowon and Abdulsalam and be quiet, you’ve had your term and let others get on. But for you to create problems for us and then you come back and present yourself as a problem solver, I find it difficult to swallow.
“I know that there are people saying ignore the messenger and focus on the message, sorry I’m a Political Scientist, that doesn’t run well with me in fact I’m sure whoever came up with that must be a politician” said Prof Akinyemi.
