The leadership of the Labour Party,LP on Monday announced their decision to dump the party and move to the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Chairman of the party in the South West, Banji Omotoso, said this at a Press Conference in Akure, the capital of Ondo State.

The reaction of the LP could not be obtained at press time.
However, Akin Oshuntokun, who is the Director General of the campaign council, had not responded to the inquiry by the NPO Reports as at press time.
