…Says he has fulfilled all his campaign promises

Lagos state governor,Babajide Sanwoolu has said that has been speaking on why he deserves to be reelected for a second term in office.
According to him,he has fulfilled all the campaign promises under three and half years with many more projects about to be commissioned before the end of his tenure.
He disclosed that till date, the state generate an average of 13 million metric tones of waste daily adding that this informs why the private sector is being involved in waste recycling in the state for optimum advantage.
He spoke while answering questions on Television Continental TVC programme Your View monitored by Newdawnngr.com
He disclosed that the private sector has been invited to partner the state in waste recycling as the government alone cannot do it especially the need to convert waste to energy to meet the states needs.
Speaking further, he said that the state has completed eight out of the sixteen jetties under construction in the state to ease water transportation in addition to provision of a security control centre at Falomo to ensure safety on the waterways.

For now,he said the state has 22 ferries in operation with each of them carrying 69 passengers.
On the state Intergrated transportation system,he said the use of Cowry cards developed by young Nigerians in the Bus Rapid Transport,BRT system is being extended to both the Ferries and the newly completed Blue line rail project now being test run and to be commissioned later in the month.
Said he,”the Cowry card is a single payment solution designed by young Nigerians to enhance the states Intergrated urban mass transport system .
Governor Sanwoolu also disclosed that additional coaches for the Blue line is already at the ports while the Red Line rail being constructed to link Oyingbo with Agbado in Ogun state will be completed in the next 147 days.
On education,he said that his administration has built 1047 new classrooms and constructed desks and benches adding that the state has attained 80% of success in the West African School certificate examination as against the 50%,attained in the previous years.
In order to keep the morale of teachers in the state public schools high,incentives like car loans and award have been given to teachers.
On roads,he said that his government has commissioned 114 new roads adding that Lagos has over 10,000 roads to serve it’s growing population.
I’m answer to a question,he denied the insinuation that Presidential candidate of the party,Asiwaju Tinubu is controlling affairs of the state adding,” in the last six years Tinubu lives in Abuja more than Lagos and I hardly see him as being speculated.
He enjoined all Lagosians irrespective of party affiliation to join him in taken the state to the next level.
