Ex president Olusegun Obasanjo’s New Year letter settled the expectations of perceptive observers.
Beyond savouring his constitutional rights, Obasanjo can never support Atiku or Tinubu.
Reasons:
Atiku was the nemesis of his covetous third term bid in 2007.
Obasanjo, a begrudging master loathes ascendancy of his former deputy and mentee.
Atiku as president with his commanding clout and national tentacles could eclipse Obasanjo’s political relevance.
Tinubu.Tufiakwa!
Obasanjo detests the self- styled Jagaban for his visibility especially in Yoruba land, a threat to the ego of the sanctimonious Ota letter man. Controlling OBJ won’t tolerate an alter -ego in his West. He mocked MKO Abiola. He will stop at nothing to stone a more overreaching Tinubu.

He feels justifiably pained that the chief cook who baked Nigeria from “frying pan to fire” wants to be president,still under hot APC, hurting us so badly.

He considers ‘Emilokan’ ( my turn ) a useless mantra by tired Tinubu.
All emperors love puppetry. Obi will gratify Obasanjo’s pleasures.Neither Atiku nor Tinubu will pander to his vainglory.The PDP Presidential Candidate is too stout to sway.The APC flag bearer ,too sly to suck. None can ever be OBJ’s “bon boy”.
