…Secures license to operate in six geo political zones of the country
The first radio station devoted to covering and reporting gender issues,Women Radio WFM 91.7 clocks 7 years in operation today.
Chief Executive of the station,Toun Okewale, extends her gratitude and that of staff to the grace of God,public and private partners in the past seven years.

Today, 7 years ago on 18 December 2015… with fear and trepidation, we launched an unusual thematic Radio station into Nigeria’s broadcast space.
Women Radio WFM 91.7 became Nigeria’s only Radio station for WOMEN & their families.
Nation building: Sanwo-Olu, Akeredolu, Buhari harp on role of women

With God’s help, the unwavering support of the public and our partners, we have not looked back.

With our newly approved Radio Licences to operate in the 6 geopolitical zones of Nigeria,
we eagerly look forward to the next 7 years in fulfilment of our mission of using Radio as a tool for Women Development.
