It was titled Festive Launch and Media Party. That was what it was last Saturday at an event venue tucked away at Lekki Blue waters side; and much more.
Organised by DStv/MultiChoice Nigeria, the journalists, especially from entertainment, sports and brands that attended met more than what they bargained for as there was more than enough to eat and drink plus music of their choice to dance to.
At the end, more than 10 scribes smiled home with gifts generator, ‘I better pass my neighbour’ and other valuable home utensils.
Among those that went home with Tiger generator was Ifoma Meze of New Telegraph.
Similarly, construction giant, Julius Beger Nigeria, also gathered journalists to a hotel near Sheraton Hotel Ikeja just to say ‘thank you to them for their support in the fast outgoing year and to also pledge for their support in the coming year.
The company’s Head of Corporate Affairs, Moses Daku, was on hand to take of the journalists. Like that of DStv, there was so much for journalists to feed on and they confessed that they are feed up.
