It was tears all through as Widow of the late multiple award-winning Gospel Artiste Sammie Okposo, Ozioma, wept uncontrollably as she poured sand into her husbands grave at his burial in Lagos on Thursday.
The “Jesus I Thank You Wellu Wellu” Composer-Singer, 51, died in his sleep on November 15.

He was laid to rest at a private cemetery in Ikoyi after a Church service officiated by the Senior Pastor of House on the Rock, Paul Adefarasin, and Lead Pastor at The L.O.G.I.C (Love Of God In Christ) Church, Dr Flourish Peters.
After the coffin was lowered into the ground, Ozioma couldn’t control her emotions as she wept by the graveside.
Mourners had to assist her when it was time to pour sand into the grave.
Born May 30, 1971, the charismatic Christian musician had released his first album “Addicted” in 2004.
Following that breakthrough project, he would go on to collaborate with many other artistes in the Gospel for collaborations.
In addition, he was sought after and had a huge following at live shows in churches and on stage, several of which took him outside these shores to countries in Africa, Europe and North America.
