Preparation towards the take-off of the newly approved University of Ilesa by the National University Commission (NUC) got to a climax Tuesday with the presentation of the official report by Professor Olu Aina, the Chairman of the Implementation Committee to the state Governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola.
The event, held inside the Executive Chamber also witnessed the unveiling of the Principal Officers designated for the new institution.
In his speech titled *Legacy to behold*, Governor Oyetola reiterated his faith in the Ijesa to collaborate on the efficient running of the University and that the programmed courses for the institution are purely professional. He charged other communities to borrow a leaf from the community driven development initiatives of the Ijesa.

Professor Kayode Ijaduola- Vice Chancellor,
Mr Oluwole Olalere Dada –Registrar,
Mukaila Oyekanmi- Bursar, Dr Helen Komolafe Opadeji- Librarian,
Dr Adedokun Oluwafemi Ojelabi- Director of Academic Planning,
Mr Babatunde Mathew – Director of Public Relations.
