Lagos woke up Thursday morning with the story of a yet to be identified lady who jumped into the Lagos lagoon in the early hours of Thursday.
Dr. Oke Osanyintolu who confirmed the reports this afternoon said the search and rescue team are currently at work to recover the body of the lady.
“I can confirm to you that it is true. Our team are still searching,” Osanyintolu told our correspondent on telephone.
He said it appeared that the lady had jumped into the lagoon at about 3am while the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA was not informed until about 5am this morning.
