Presidential Council: Mimiko rejects Atiku’s appointment, backs Wike

This was disclosed by the Publicity Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party, Ologunagba while announcing the arrival of Atiku Abubakar in the United States of America.

He wrote,”While in the US, the former Vice President is scheduled to meet with the American Chambers of Commerce, as part of his engagement with investors oversea to build an economically stronger and more secure Nigeria if he is elected as president in 2023.”

US Chamber of Commerce is the largest in the world with strong presence in 50 states in the US.

The chamber plans to discuss and hear Atiku’s perspectives on how best the US corporations can best support Nigeria’s economic development and improve bilateral relations between the United States and Nigeria.

Atiku’s visit to US will be his second trip to the United States since 2018, when he similarly visited there to clear the notion that he had been banned from entering the US, over fraud allegations.
