The last one week has been a season of seizures for the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency,NDLEA as
operatives of the agency have intercepted pharmaceutical opioids worth over N2.4million weighing 2,356kg at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.
The interception is coming on the heels of last week’s seizure of over a million doses of same illicit drug at the offices and mansions of a drug baron in Victoria Garden City .
The news of the new discovery was made known in a statement signed by the NDLEA spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, on Sunday.
The drugs which came into the country from Karachi, Pakistan via an Ethiopian Airline comprised of seven cartons of 250mg of a brand called tamral and 45 cartons of 225mg pills branded as try making.
