An unspecified number of people have been burnt beyond recognition at the Iyana Oworo area of Lagos Sunday evening after a commuter bus caught fire.

The cause of the fire was not known at the time of filing this report.
But images seen showed many people were trapped in the burning bus while some people who managed to pull out of the bus still died out of exhaustion and were burnt outside the bus.
