The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has released the embattled speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly Rt. Hon Olakunle Oluomo.
Oluomo it was learnt was released on Friday after spending one night at the EFCC office in Abuja for alleged fraud and financial misappropriation.
It could be recalled that Oluomo was arrested on Thursday morning by EFCC officials at the Lagos Airport after he allegedly failed to honour several invitation of the commission.
However, a close aide of the speaker, confirming the release of the number 3 man in Ogun state, said the speaker was released on Friday.
The aides who refuses to give details of the release of the speaker said, “My Oga is at home.”
