The Osun State Independent Electoral Commission, OSIEC has announced October 15 as the date for the conduct of the local government elections across the State.
The Chairman of the Commission, Otunba Olusegun Oladuntan made this known at a press briefing in Osogbo on Monday.
Oladuntan said the Commission is now operating on the newly passed and assented Osun State electoral act 2022 which was passed by the State Assembly.
Recall that the Commision had last week held a meeting with the political parties to brief them on the process.
