The estranged deputy Governor of Oyo State Engr Rauf Olaniyan has resumed in his new office at the Ministry of Environment.
It will be recalled that the deputy Governor was elected on the joint ticket with Governor Seyi Makinde on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.

However, Olaniyan defected to the All Progressive Congress,APC, two weeks ago due to differences with the Governor.
The state House of Assembly had last week commenced impeachment proceedings against the Governor.
The Governor had ordered the relocation of the office of the Deputy Governor from
the main office to the Ministry of the Environment which is situated outside the main office of and vicinity of the Governor.
