Is the wicked propaganda of Igbos being stopped from registering for thier PVCs even possible in Lagos? Where were these traders all the months INEC announced continous voter registration?
Did anyone stop Igbos or any other tribe from registering in Lagos? INEC advertised, practically begged people to register or make corrections needed to have a valid PVC to vote for several months, and now at the last moment, some people are rushing to register and creating riotous scenes.

Go and collect your PVC, Peterside urges youths
Even if some thugs tried to stop Igbo traders from registering, how can they prove the actions of these miscreants is the official LASG policy ? Why not make formal complaints and see how INEC and the LASG react before making provocative statements this delicate period?
My mother is Igbo, I speak Igbo fluently and I love my mother’s people passionately but they must stop playing the victim and quickly calling the next people the enemy. Like I have told as many Igbos, the greatest mistake they make is seeing Yorubas as their worst enemy. I tell them they should look beyond the lies, propaganda and years of falsehood to dispassionately analyse the history between Yorubas and Igbos.
From the pre to post civil war era and up till date, Yoruba have supported Igbos. How many abandoned property did Igbos record in Lagos and the SW? Victor Banjo fought on Biafra’s side, Wole Soyinka spent 22 months in jail over Biafra.

Despite having Tinubu and Osinbajo in the race Afenifere insisted on power shift to the South East. The same for different prominent Yoruba intellectuals. Afenifere is yet to congratulate Tinubu for picking APC ticket. Some of Peter Obi’s staunch supporters are Yoruba, starting with Doyin Okupe and young people. In the same Lagos, Igbos are claiming they are being blocked from registering, we’ve had Igbos elected as members of the House of Reps in constituencies dominated by Ndigbo and non- indigenes. Rita Orji and Tony Nwulu are quick to come to mind. Some have been elected at LG level.
The same Tinubu they now say hates Igbos brought in Ben Akabueze as commissioner and he managed the Lagos budget for years. Today, Akabueze is DG National Budget Office courtesy of the same Tinubu-Lagos clique. Joe Igbokwe an Nnewi man manged a government agency in Lagos before and he is now SA to Sanwo-Olu. Many Igbos conduct business and raise families in Lagos peacefully, yet when there is a little problem, they say Yoruba hate them and marginalise them.

From the pre civil war years till date, Igbos academicians rise to high positions in tertiary institutions in the SW. Igbos do well in Yoruba movie industry, in the Lagos entertainment scene and they are top players in the Lagos high society. Yet, some of them shout discrimination when there is a little problem.

I have talked and worried so much, trying to make Ndigbo see that Yorubas gave been a good ally, but it seems nobody can make Igbos look at Yorubas with less suspicion or even give them any credit for anything.
