Three communities in Ewekoro local government area of Ogun state are now living in fear as threats of terrorist attack heightened in the area.
Newdawnngr sources revealed that the communities were apprehensive following a report of incursion of the area by suspected fulani bandits.

It was gathered that on Thursday an earlier report came from a section of Lapeleke Town where a corpse of a suspected murdered person was found.
While the matter was being reported to the police, a source said, another distressed call came from Oke-Oko village within the same corridor of gun shots on the villagers and an alleged kidnapping of a woman whose husband was shot.

It was gathered that as a result,the Baale of Oke-Oko, Chief Mukaila Sekoni and a host of local hunters subsequently began hunt for the suspected hoodlums.
In an interview with Newdawnngr.com,
Chief Sekoni confirmed that one of the villagers was shot while the community was able to arrest one of the Fulani herdsmen who have since been handed over to the police.
He told Newdawnngr that he was on his way to the hospital to check the man who was shot by the terrorist.
He revealed that the vigilante group are still searching for others who are now at large while pleading with the police to ensure that the apprehended culprit must be brought to justice and future occurrence is prevented.
Police sources revealed that the Ewekoro Police Command accompanied by the local hunters succeeded in apprehending one man suspected to be a member of the gang.
A top police source disclosed that the men of the state Police command have commenced investigation into the matter.
Efforts to get the local Divisional Police Officer and the state Police command at Eleweran to comment on the matter proved abortive.
The state police public relations officer,Oyeyemi Abimbola neither picked his call nor responded the text message and whatsaap message sent to his phone.
