But then I am cautioned against feeling for the Jagaban.
I am told that it’s only a non-politician that can feel for a politician.
I am further told that politicians, particularly the Nigerian kind, don’t feel for any of their ilk that ever gets the short end of the stick. Because they all know what it takes to be a Nigerian politician.

And I understand that to mean barefaced exhibition of treachery and betrayals.
They say Tinubu has literally been serving that dish to so many. And so, his complaint now, in apprehension of being served same, lacks sincerity.
They say he is merely trying to whip up sentiment and reap undeserved sympathy, knowing the cut-throat scheming that characterizes the world he plays dominant role in.
