For former Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, there is no respite yet as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) operatives stormed his Maitama, Abuja residence on Tuesday.

It was gathered that the operatives who allegedly came without arrest warrant, insisted on forcefully taking him away, quoting an aide of the Imo West Senator, who since his exit from his office, has faced a lot of problems with the law, either from the EFCC or his successor, Hope Uzodinma.

Though we could could not get EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, to speak on the matter, reports that it was still unclear why the operatives stormed the residence though it quotes the said aide as alleging it could be a ploy to stop the All Progreasives Congress(APC).
