In what appears to be a last minute attempt to reconcile major contenders in the race for Presidential slot off the ruling ,All Progressives Congress,APC, a crucial meeting is going on now at the Lagos House Marina.
The meeting called at the instance of first interim national chairman of the APC,Chief Bisi Akande and Aremo Segun Osoba, is with a few to mend fences among the aspirants led by Asiwaju Tinubu and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
In what looks like a long night today at the Lagos house Marina, it also had in attendance,Ekiti Governor, Kayode Fayemi and Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola.
The meeting we learnt kicked off few minutes ago.
Also in attendance are key stakeholders of the party in South West.

Governors Gboyega Oyetola, Dapo Abiodun, Rotimi Akeredolu, Dr. Iyiola Omisore are also present.
Sources at the meeting told UPSHOTREPORTS a mild drama ensure when Aregbesola arrived with the Vice President in the same vehicle, but refused to sit next to Senator Iyiola Omisore.
Chief Osoba was said to have intervened as he told the Minister to seat anywhere that pleases him.
In the same vein, VP Osinbajo was said to have sent in an advanced security to sweep the State House Marina claiming that he was not sure of his security at the place.
Vice President Osinbajo arrived the venue of the meeting with Ogbeni Aregbesola in same vehicle.
